Waiting In The Airport

I must admit I love this image from THE PAPER SHELTER. Maybe it's because she reminds me of sitting in an airport for hours in Houston, Texas waiting on a delayed flight. I sat and did a lot of people watching. It is always fun to watch how different people react to delays in their plans. Some get angry, some just settle in for the duration and some think they can bully the poor people at the counter into getting them on a non-existent flight. I prefer the people watching. LOL! Although, I did call my brother several times as he was waiting in Atlanta Georgia airport for my arrival. It was fun to say "Houston we have a problem!" LOL! On to my card....
My card is pretty simple, just some scraps of paper from the scrap box. I added a cute die cut, which I double cut. I added liquid pearls to the center of each flower. Now for those cute pink dots at the bottom of the card. They are melted pony beads. I just place the beads on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper, baked in the over at 375 for 25 minutes. That's it, you now have some lovely dots in many different colors and they are so cheap! I hope you will pop over to THE PAPER SHELTER and check out all the lovely stamps and then give some pony bead dots a try!
I am entering this card at the following challenges:

My Song: (Peter, Paul, and Mary) I'm Leaving on a Jet Plane
All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go
I'm standing here outside your door
I hate to wake you up to say goodbye
But the dawn is breakin', it's early morn
The taxi's waiting, he's blowin' his horn
Already I'm so lonesome I could cry
So kiss me and smile for me
Tell me that you'll wait for me
Hold me like you'll never let me go
(Oh baby, don't let me go)
I'm leavin' on a jet plane
I don't know when I'll be back again
Oh babe, I hate to go

Wow what a great card - and I agree much better to people watch than to get upset about things that can't be changed, and at people who can't help! Thanks for joining Southern Girls for our anything goes challenge!
