"About To Croak" (Card 1)

This is a card created for the Stamp TV sketch challenge.
The image is from Whipper Snapper. Isn't he cute? I colored the image with Copics. I would love to have more, more, more colors in Copics. I love using these markers and would urge all of you to invest in them. The red paper is embossed with my new candy cane embossing folder. I love it. I always make two cards that are similar and yet different to send to my grandsons. It gives each one his 'own' special card. Enjoy your Memorial Day week-end. My thanks to each who have served or are serving in the military. I am forever grateful to each of you. May America always be "ONE NATION UNDER GOD!"

"About To Croak"

This was a sketch challenge at Stamp TV.
I love the Whipper Snapper stamps and all of the images.
This is a perfect card to send to my grandsons. All of the paper came from my scrap box. The woven material is self adhesive join tape. You can buy a huge roll of this for less than the little tiny rolls found at scrapbook store. It can be inked to change it's color. If you are doing a project that you don't care if it is acid free, this is the product for you! I like to use lots of texture on the cards for the grands. It is nice for little ones to be able to use that since of touch!

"Wishes Can Come True"

This is my Stamp TV challenge. We were to create a card using burgundy, gold and white and we could have one accent color. I thought this would be easy, but found 'gold' is not my favorite color to work with. Maybe it was just one of those days when things did not flow! I used Copics to color my Magnolia image, the sentiment is from SU, the paper was all from my scrap basket. I used my Cricut for all die cuts. This was a fun was to spend a very rainy day! Enjoy your Memorial Day weekend! Be safe and God's blessings!

"Spring Planting"

"Spring Planting!"
This is a Mo's Digi stamp image. It is a very cute image and one that I will use again. The paper is from a DM pack, image is colored with copic markers, I often make cards ahead and leave the sentiment off until I am ready to send the card. May you be blessed with a garden of love!

Spring Planting! (Card 2)

SPRING PLANTING! (inside of card)

I love to 'finish' off my cards on the inside. I feel it gives them a little extra punch. This is a simple way to continue the 'spring planting' theme. The punched tulip edge is a Martha Stewart punch. I colored the tulips with copics. Honestly it took very little time! Enjoy your day!

Spring Planting!

"Spring Planting!
This is the last Mo's Digi stamp, I purchased this weekend. My oldest grandson loves to help me work in the garden. This image is so cute and would work also as a scrapbook page embellishment. The 'sun' is a nestabilities and the edge is glittered with a copics glitter pen. A fun way to add a little bling.
"Puddle Play" (card 2)
It is amazing what changing the colors and sketch can do with stamps and digi stamps. We have had lots of rain lately and I can only imagine how much fun my grandsons would have playing in the mud puddles. I hope each of you can enjoy time with your children and grandchildren, they are the sunshine in my life!
"Puddle Play!"
This is another Mo's Digi stamp that I purchased this week-end. The little boy makes me think of my youngest grandson. He calls splashing in puddles his trick! The image was colored with copics, iridescent rain drops came from our local Dollar Store, DM paper. Digi stamps are fun to play with, the images are so cute, but not my favorite because of the bleed from printer ink. I will still be a die heart rubber stamper!

"That's It!" (Card 2)

I love this image, (Mo's Digi stamp), the paper is DM, except for bronze  it came from our local Paper Express bulk scrap bin, colored with copic markers. I love the little feet stuck straight up in the air! I must admit my son did this often when he was the "terrible two's"!  I hope all the mothers's out there enjoy's this card!

That's It (Card 2)

"That's It! (Card 2 Inside of Card) Since my grandson's live far away from us, I make two cards  that are from the same stamp, but different. They love to get mail and it makes me think of different ways to use  a  stamp. Paper is DM except for bronze, sentiment was computer generated.
"That's It!" What mother hasn't had those days! This Digi stamp just makes me laugh. This is the first time I have used a digi stamp. The 'pros' are:  easy to use, relatively cheap, size can be manipulated. 'Cons' are: Ink from printer will sometimes smear especially if you are using Copics, can't manipulate like with a stamp. My conclusion is that I will use these occasionally, but I am still a stamp fan. Hope this makes you smile!

That's It

The inside of 'That's It!' Sentiment is computer generated, bronze glitz paper is from local paper express, bulk scrap bin, punched boarder is Martha Stewart punch. This card reminded me so much of my two grandsons. Luke the oldest actually said this to his Mom one day, and Logan the (3) year old wails when he is hurt or mad!

Happines!

Happiness-by Patty Chapman

Image: Inky Impressions
Flowers are punched with a one inch circle punch, leaves are a flower punch. I am looking forward to a week on the beach with my family!
