I have one more card for the Christmas card stash. I love this cute stamp from The Paper Shelter.
The stamp is called "We are Santa and Rudolph" and can be found here!  The die cut is from Heartfelt Creations. I added some homemade poinsettias and some cute Christmas lights to finish off this card.
I am entering this card at the following challenges:

Before you go to sleep
Say a little prayer
Every day in every way, it's getting better and better

All You Need Is Love***

This is a wedding card I made for my cousin's daughter. She is getting married next month and I wanted to send her a special card. I decided to make a white on white card with the roses being the only touch of color.  I included a card holder for the gift card on the left hand side.  I need to get the sentiment stamped and this off in the mail.
I am entering this card at the following challenges!

My Song: My Chapel (The Dixie Cups)
Goin' to the chapel and we're gonna get ma-a-arried
Goin' to the chapel and we're gonna get ma-a-arried
Gee, I really love you
And we're gonna get ma-a-arried
Goin' to the chapel of love
Spring is here, th-e-e sky is blue, whoa-oh-oh
Birds all sing as if they knew
Today's the day we'll say "i do"
And we'll never be lonely anymore because we're
Because goin' to the chapel and we're gonna get ma-a-arried
Goin' to the chapel and we're gonna get ma-a-arried
Gee, I really love you
And we're gonna get ma-a-arried
Goin' to the chapel of love

Brrrr....Baby It's Cold Outside

A closer look!
 My winter flower!
Brrrrr....is it cold at your house? We are experiencing some cold temps as winter works it way toward spring. I just could not commit to a totally cold card so I threw my  lavenders together to color this cute digi from Cute As A Button. You can practically feel the winter wind blowing. LOL....good days to sit in by the fire and keep warm and to craft.
I added some extra fine glitter to the 'fur' and the cute heart cut out on the snowman.
I added some homemade foam flowers and added some sparkle.
I am entering this card at the following challenges

My Song: Hometown Girl (Josh Turner)
She grew up around here on that southwest side
Where the corn grows up to the road side
Went to high school here, got that Panther pride
She'll be cheering them on every Friday night
She couldn't hide her beauty with a baseball cap
Couldn't help but shine with a heart like that
New York called when she turned 21
But she never forgot where she came from
I need a pretty little homegrown hometown girl
With a ribbon tying back those waterfall curls
I've been looking all over, all over the world
For a pretty little homegrown hometown girl

Swag!

I had such fun coloring this fun stamp from The Paper Shelter. I thought this guy was cute and would be a fun guy card.  The stamp is called "Swag"!
You can find it by clicking on the link! I colored it with Copics. I added a fun happy birthday tag and some cute brads. The inside sentiment was stamped on a spellbinder die cut. I thought it added a little more fun to this card.
I am entering this card at the following challenges:

My Song: Mohair Sam (Claude Rich)
Who is the hippie that's happenin' all over our town?
Tearin' up chicks with the message that he lays down
Who is the coolest guy, what is, what am?
Fast-talkin', slow walkin', good-lookin' Mohair Sam.

Snow Bird

I hope each of you are at least seeing a few signs of winter being over. This has been a long, cold, hard, winter. I think even our birds in Idaho would like to be dressed as this cute little bird from Whimsy is dressed. I am getting an early start on my Christmas cards for this year.  I hope you are getting yours done as well....I know we don't want to think about Christmas this soon, but hey look how prepared we will be!
I am entering this card at the following challenges:

My Song: Snow Bird (Anne Murray)
Beneath this snowy mantle cold and clean
The unborn grass lies waiting
For its coat to turn to green
The snowbird sings the song he always sings
And speaks to me of flowers
That will bloom again in spring
When I was young my heart was young then too
Anything that it would tell me
That's the thing that I would do
But now I feel such emptiness within
For the thing that I want most in life's
The thing thing that I can't win
Spread your tiny wings and fly away
And take the snow back with you
Where it came from on that day
The one I love forever is untrue
And if I could you know that I would
Fly away with you

Girl's Just Want To Have Fun!

This is one of the newer stamps from The Paper Shelter! It is called The Glamorous Girls! Isn't fun? I also have been playing with foam to try and make some gorgeous flowers. I have seen these on various blogs and also watched You Tube videos. I still haven't got them perfected but I am having fun trying. If anyone has tips for me I would appreciate any and all! LOL!
I am entering this card at the following challenges:

My Song: Girls Just Want To Have Fun (Cyndi Lauper)
I come home in the morning light
My mother says when you gonna live your life right
Oh mother dear we're not the fortunate ones
And girls they want to have fun
Oh girls just want to have fun
The phone rings in the middle of the night
My father yells what you gonna do with your life
Oh daddy dear you know you're still number one
But girls they want to have fun
Oh girls just want to have

The "Hop"

This cute stamp from CAAB reminds me of the first dances I attended in Jr. High. I am sure I had that same look on my face. LOL! This card is also the first attempt I had made in making foam flowers. After I made this card I watched some videos on how to make them and surprise my next attempt turned out so much better. Too late for this card but hopefully it will serve as a reminder in the future.
I am entering this card in the following challenges:

My Song: At the Hop
Well there's a rock'n and a roll'n
There's a sinking of my soul
It's the hop!
When the preacher started pray'n
And the choir started sway'n
It's the hop!
Where my salvation
Is a sweet celebration
It's the hop!

A Valentine/Birthday Wish

Today is my sweet husbands birthday! I wanted to find a special way to say Happy Birthday and this posting is it! So Happy Birthday Steve!
It is also time for another challenge at The Paper Shelter.
Our challenge this week is "A Valentine Wish". So lets see your valentines. Remember if you use a stamp from The Paper Shelter  you can win a prize of $30 to spend at their store!
I chose Tony and Cleo for my card. I think they are so cute and perfect for a valentine/birthday card. It has one of my favorite things....glitter!
I am entering this card in the following challenges:

My Song: Can't Take My Eyes Off You (Frankie Valli)
You're just too good to be true
Can't take my eyes off of you
You'd be like heaven to touch
I want to hold you so much
At long last love has arrived
And I thank God I'm alive
You're just too good to be true
Can't take my eyes off of you
Pardon the way that I stare
There's nothing else to compare
The sight of you leaves me weak
There are no words left to speak
But if you feel like I feel
Please let me know that it's real
You're just too good to be true
Can't take my eyes off of you
I love you baby and if it's quite all right
I need you baby to warm the lonely nights
I love you baby, trust in me when I say
Oh pretty baby, don't bring me down I pray
Oh pretty baby, now that I've found you stay
And let me love you baby, let me love you

Love Is In The Air

Happy Valentine's Day!  I created this fun card using a digi stamp from The Paper Shelter! This cute little guy is called Hilarious Cupid! He was a quick fun color and perfect to wish my sweet husband a Happy Valentine's Day!  I hope each of you can brighten someone's day today.
I am entering this card at the following challenges:

My Song: That's Amore! (Dean Martin)
When a moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie
That's amore
When the world seems to shine like you've had too much wine
That's amore
Bells will ring ting-a-ling-a-ling, ting-a-ling-a-ling
And you'll sing "Vita bella"
Hearts will play tippy-tippy-tay, tippy-tippy-tay
Like a gay tarantella
When the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool
That's amore
When you dance down the street with a cloud at your feet
You're in love
When you walk in a dream but you know you're not dreaming signore
Scuzza me, but you see, back in old Napoli
That's amore

Red, Black, and White

I have had this digi for a long time. Unfortunately I have it saved in three folders and I don't have a clue which one it the correct one. So if someone could tell me who makes this digi I will give credit where credit is due. I colored the digi first and loved the black boots with the polk-a-dots and decided to go with a red, black and white color scheme. I had this sheet of DP in my stash and I thought it worked perfect with this card. Once again, I played with my foam making flowers. (My husband wasn't a fan of the black flowers!) LOL! I added Glassy accents to the boots. Some pretty dots from Queen & Co. and some brads that I have had for at least 10 years. See, you do eventually use up those things! A little ribbon and bow finish off my card. My favorite tool is dies which I used in making my flowers and leaves!
I am entering this card at the following challenges:

My Song: Love is All Around (Joan Jett & the Blackhearts)
Who can turn the world on with her smile?
Who can take a nothing day, and suddenly make it all seem worthwhile?
Well it's you , and you should know it
With each glance and every little movement you show it
Love is all around, no need to waste it
You can have a town, why don't you take it
You're gonna make it after all
You're gonna make it after all
How will you make it on your own?
This world is awfully big, this time you're all alone
But it's time you started living
It's time you let someone else do some giving
Love is all around, no need to waste it
You can have a town, why don't you take it
You're gonna make it after all
You're gonna make it after all

Ahoy There!

An upper respiratory virus has hit our household. My husband and I are coughing, have a sore throat, and are ears are acting up also. It seemed a good time for me play in the craft room and stay warm. With frigid temperatures and more than a foot of snow on the ground it may be a long winter here.  I am using an older stamp from THE PAPER SHELTER  the stamp is called "Pretty Little Sailor Girl" and you can click 'here' to go to it.
I made some pretty foam flowers and added a bright, sheer, pink ribbon to finish off my card. I also inked the die cut on the inside of my card.
I am entering this card at the following challenges:
My Song: Put a Little Love In Your Heart (Jackie DeShannon)
Think of your fellow man
Lend him a helping hand
Put a little love in your heart
You see it's getting late
Oh, please don't hesitate
Put a little love in your heart
And the world will be a better place
For you and me
You just wait and see
Another day goes by
Still the children cry
Put a little love in your heart
If you want the world to know
We won't let hatred grow
Put a little love in your heart

Best Bro Ever***

I just love this new stamp from The Paper Shelter.
It is called "Best Bro Ever".  I have watched this play out in my own family and I was so impressed how my son and DIL handled the new sibling situation. I know several young moms who are expecting there second child or just had their second child. It is always fun to hear how big brother or sister are handling the new sibling. My daughter was less than impressed. She looked at her new brother and said, "Is that it?" She was not impressed. LOL!
I am entering this card at the following challenges:

My song: The Pitty, Pitty, Patter (Susan Raye)
Oh the pitty pitty patter of a little bitty feet's
Gonna pitty pitty patter through our house
A gonna be a comin' in June gonna stop our honeymoon
Cause the pitty pitty patter of a little bitty feet's
Gonna pitty pitty patter through our house

Gonna be a lookin' for a bottle in the middle of the night
Lookin' for a chance to hold daddy tight
A washin' little diapers every day a big doctor bill I'm gonna have to pay pay pay
Oh the pitty pitty patter of a little bitty feet's
Gonna pitty pitty patter through our house
Gonna be a thinkin' of another name yeah there's gonna be a great big change

A Whisper Can be heard over the Roar of a Lion!

When I was in Jr. High I worked after school at the local library. Since I loved to read it was the perfect job for me. I loved shelving the books and being able to recommend books to patrons as they came in. I also got to read books to children once a week. I never knew how great that job was until I look back now. So, I 'had' to have this new stamp from Faery Ink called Bookworm. You can find her by clicking on the links. The DP is from Authentic. It comes with a little saying on each sheet that is printed on the tear off tab. I have been cutting them out and using them on my cards. This one says "The whisper of a pretty girl can be heard over the roar of a lion." I thought it was perfect for this card. I also have been playing with my foam making flowers. I still have not achieved the ruffly look I want but I have had fun playing with them. The die cut is from Joanna Sheen. The inside sentiment is from Sweet and Sassy!
I was asked if I preferred ribbon or lace. To be honest I don't have a preference. Each adds it's own special  look to a card. There are so many beautiful ribbons and styles of lace it would be hard to pick.
I am entering this card at the following challenges:
My Song: My God
Nothing you could say could tear me away from my God, (my God)
Nothing you
could do, 'cause I'm stuck like glue to my God, (my God, my God)
I'm
sticking to my God like a stamp to a letter,
Like birds of a feather we
stick together.
I'm tellin' you from the start, I can't be torn apart
from my God.
