New Year's Eve!

 A closer look!
OK! It is another Christmas card, but it could be appropriate for the "New Year" also. It is time to sweep away the past problems, ill feelings, and sadness and move on to a brighter, clean new start!  It works for me anyway! I hope you have a wonderful New Year and a very safe and sane New Year's Eve! I am entering this card at the following challenges:

A Time To Forgive

A closer look!
 The inside of my card!
Our year is quickly coming to an end! I can't believe 2018 is gone. It seems the older I get the faster time is flying. I still have a 'few' Christmas cards to post and will try and get them posted before spring! LOL! This sweet stamp is another Lee Holland and I do love it. It would be nice if we could all end the year forgiving those who have hurt us and moving on. I am entering this card at the following challenges:

Let's Build A Snowman!

A closer look at the cute digi stamp!
 The inside of my card!
I have been having lots of fun with these cute little snowmen stamps from Lee Holland Art  you can click on the link and see all the cute snowmen you can choose from. I wanted to do a few cards for the teens that work in our church nursery each Sunday. They do a great job with the little ones that are in our nursery class and Christmas is a great time to recognize their efforts with the kids. My youngest grandson's face lights up when he sees these teens and I love that they are such a great example of God's love to the little ones.
I used Nuvo drops for the pearl snow falling and extra fine glitter on the snow on the ground. I do wish my picture reflected how much the snow sparkles but it doesn't. LOL!  I am entering this card at the following challenges:

The Bear Necessities!

Love this cute stamp and it makes such  a sweet card. I know I will use this stamp over and over.  I know that some of you only use stamps one time but I like to enjoy them and try and create a new look each time I use them. I had quite a play with this card. I used Liquid Glass on the ice berg and added some pretty pearl snowflakes from my stash. The inside left of my card I used some cute bear die cuts and a Merry Christmas die cut. The right side is a new Christmas stamp that I picked up at Hobby Lobby. I hope you enjoy this Christmas Card even if it is after Christmas! LOL!

Christmas Love

 A closer look!
This cute digital stamp from Lee Holland made me think of my husband proposing to me. I will admit it wasn't quiet this romantic but we were young and had a lifetime before us. Now, here we are 47 years later and I still love him and would go back and do it all over again. I just wish our joints could stand sitting out in the cold like this! LOL! Choppy Birthday!

Since Christmas is past and winter is upon us here in Idaho I thought this Birthday card was perfect for this time of year. This card went to my husbands cousin who is a logger.  I loved the buffalo plaid paper and all the logging elements that went into making this card. Happy Birthday Rocky!

Christmas Eve

 A closer look!
 The inside of my card!
It is the night before Christmas and all through the house.....well, not exactly! My three grandsons are spending the night  so mom and dad can help Santa with an special errand. So, we are having hot chocolate, popcorn, and some fun Christmas movies, a special book and then the 'true' Christmas story and then tucked into bed for (I am sure) a short nights sleep and then up early to travel to the boy's home (4 doors away) to see if Santa came. I am so blessed to be able to enjoy such a full and wonderful Christmas. I hope each of you are enjoying your own special day and enjoying what the true meaning of "Christ"mas is! Merry Christmas to all and to all a good-night!

Snow Bird

A Christmas digi from Sherri Baldy!
A little sparkle to the sentiment with Wink of Stella!
 The inside of my card!
Another Christmas card! Are  you sick of my Christmas cards yet? I have been busy trying to get cards made for my grnadson's Sunday School teachers, our praise team, ushers, church secretary, pastor and wife etc. I want each card to fit the personality and for each card to be different. This card is going to a special lady on our praise team. She always has a smile on her face and is the kindest person. I hope this card will speak to her!

Pretty In Pink

I have been trying some different digital stamps lately. Just to broaden my horizons in coloring. I "Tried" to tone down the bright colors that I normally use and keep it soft! I am not sure I really accomplished that but this is the result....and surprise it is not a Christmas card! LOL! I do think it turned out pretty and it is already gone to a new owner so time to make another card! I am entering this card in the following challenges:

A "Wee" Snowman

I love "Wee" stamps and this darling snowman is no exception. The sweet little snowman is letting the little birds warm themselves around his candle. This is another Christmas card and even though it is 'semi-Christmas colors' I like the way it turned out with the dark colors. What do you think? Merry Christmas on Skates

I dug out an old Polkadoodles for this Christmas card. I have always loved this stamp and think it makes a cute winter card. I had someone comment on a prior card that I 'certainly used bright colors'. I hadn't really noticed that until she had pointed it out and I looked back at my cards. I don't necessarily think bright colors are wrong, in fact I like them! I really tried to tone this card down. But...I still think I might have gone bright!  Oh, well, we each have our style and if her's are pastel colors so be it...I think I will stick with bright colors!

Let It Snow!

 A closer look!
 The Inside!

Good-morning everyone! Are your kids or grand kids wishing for a snow day? Mine our! I think it has more about not getting up early to go to school than snow! LOL! But, they are determined to wish a snow day before Christmas. I have made a few Christmas cards this year and before I could send them out they were sold. LOL!
This card uses a Mo Manning digi stamp. I colored it with Copics and added some extra fine glitter for the sparkle in the snow. I also hung the extra long bear's scarf outside the frame. I do like the look of that. Some pretty iridescent rhinestones and a pearl snowflake finish off this fun card.

It is time for another fun challenge at The Creative Crafters! As you know, our challenges are always "Anything Goes"! So, there is no excuse not to play along! I am sure we all need a break from the hustle and bustle of Christmas.
I love snowmen and this card was so much fun for me to color! What his better than a snowman family? I used Copics to color my fun family and added some glitter to the snow for sparkle! A cute die cut and a little liquid glass on the noses and coal finish off this fun card. I look forward to seeing your entries at "The Creative Crafters Challenge Blog"!

Happy Birthday Paper Shelter!!!

Good Morning fellow crafters and welcome to The Paper Shelter Blog Hop and this is in celebration of their reaching their 8th Birthday on December 8th. It will be a two week Challenge and both Design Teams are taking part.

The Hop is our way of inviting you to join in with us and this one is a  "BIRTHDAY/ CELEBRATIONS" theme, which I know is extremely popular!!!! If you have landed here from the fabulous Julie Price's blog  https://julieprice3.wordpress.com  then you're heading in the right direction - if not then you'll want to head on back to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog to start again, as you'll not want to miss out on this one! Our Design Teams have worked very hard and are showcasing the gorgeous images available from The Paper Shelter Website and each blog on the hop is offering one lucky commentor a digi of their choice as well as the main prize, details of which are on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot.

I chose the fabulous "Snowboarder Girl" for my card! I get lots of requests for cards using this digi, this time of year! I colored this cute digi with my Copics and then fussy cut it out. I dry embossed my base using an embossing folder and I used die cuts that I glittered to add interest to the card. A few scattered pearl snowflakes finished off this fun card!
