Graduation Time

It is time for graduation cards. I made this for a friend to give her youngest granddaughter. This is an older stamp but I always like to use it for graduation cards. The school colors are red, blue, and white so I tried to use these accents on this card. The stars are buttons I placed over a die cut. A simple card for a special time.
I am entering this card at the following challenges:

My Song: Whenever We Remember (Carrie Underwood)
When you look back on times we had
I hope you smile
And know that through the good and through the bad
I was on your side when nobody could hold us down
We claimed the brightest star
And we, we came so far
And, no, they won't forget
Whenever you remember times gone by
Remember how we held our heads so high
When all this world was there for us
And we believed that we could touch the sky
Whenever you remember, I'll be there
Remember how we reached that dream together
Whenever you remember
When you think back on all we've done
I hope you're proud
When you look back and see how far we've come
It was our time to shine
And nobody could hold us down
They thought they'd see us fall
But we, we stood so tall
And, no, we won't forget

Flower Power

I have always thought Holland would be a wonderful place to visit. So when The Paper Shelter chose Flower Power as our next challenge I just had to use Adorable Dutch Girl!
You can find her here at The Paper Shelter!
I colored her with Copics and added the pretty rhinestone buttons that were given to me by a dear friend. Some paper lace and a bow finished off my card!
I hope you will join the fun at The Paper Shelter Challenge!
I am entering this card at the following challenges:

My Song: Pretty Little Dutch Girl
I am a pretty little Dutch girl
As pretty as I can be.
And all the boys. In the neighborhood. Are crazy over me.
 My boyfriend's name is Mello,
He comes from the land of Jello,
With pickles for his toes.
And a cherry for his nose.
And that's the way my story goes.

"Lace And Pearls"

 A closer look!
 Star pearls!
 The inside of my card!
 A little fairy die cut!
 One more look!
I must admit I had fun making this card. The adorable stamp is from The Paper Shelter and she is named "Did You Ask For A Fairy"!  We are also having a fun challenge at The Paper Shelter!
This time we want to see "Lace And Pearls".  I had this beautiful lace that was given to me by a sweet friend Diane Castoe! I love it and thought it was the perfect frame for my cute fairy! I added some cute pearl hearts and also some liquid pearls for accent. I wasn't able to show the shimmer and it is so pretty! I used a Close To My Heart shimmer pen! I love that pen and the pretty shimmer it leaves behind! The inside I found some cute little locks and a fairy die(s). I am looking for a stamp I have that is about fairies for the sentiment! (I hate when I can't find something!) So, I hope you are inspired by my card and will join the fun at our challenge!
I am entering this card at the following challenges:

My Song:  Dream Fairy (unknown)
A little fairy comes at night,
Her eyes are blue, her hair is brown,
With silver spots upon her wings,
And from the moon she flutters down.
She has a little silver wand,
And when a good child goes to bed,
She waves her hand from right to left,
And makes a circle round its head.
And then it dreams of pleasant things,
Of fountains filled with fairy fish,
And trees that bear delicious fruit,
And bow their branches at a wish.

Hey There Lonely Girl!

This is my first card since I broke my shoulder and shattered my arm, that I have felt like my coloring is returning. This  beautiful digi image is from Connie Fong. I do love coloring her sweet stamps. It is also nice to be able to set aside some time to color and play in the craft room.  Pretty little pearl hearts add a bit of elegance and interest to the front of my card. I used a die cut tag for the die cut sentiment. and a die cut box for the inside left panel. A die cut also sets off my sentiment.
I am entering this card at the following challenge:

My Song: Hey There Lonely Girl (Eddie Holeman)
Hey there lonely girl, lonely girl
Let me make your broken heart like new
Hey there lonely girl, lonely girl
Don't you know this lonely boy loves you
Ever since he broke your heart you seem so lost
Each time you pass my way
Oh, how I long to take your hand
And say don't cry, I'll kiss your tears away
Hey there lonely girl, my lonely girl
Let me make your broken heart like new
Hey there lonely girl, lonely girl
Don't you know this lonely boy loves you
You think that only his two lips can kiss your lips
And make your heart stand still
But once you're in my arms you'll see
No one can kiss your lips the way I will

Love Is In The Air!

A closer look at the cute digi stamp!
 The sentiment!
 The inside of my card!
We are having a fun, fun, challenge at The Paper Shelter ! As you may have guessed our theme is "Love Is In The Air"! How fun is that? It can be your own interpretation like mine is, but we hope you will join in the fun and there is a great prize to be won! Pop on over to The Paper Shelter Store and check out the lovely digi stamps available for you to use! I chose the "How Cute Are You?"
digital stamp for my card. Having lost our fur baby of 15 years we know the love and loss you can feel for that special pet that is a part of our family! I used a Darci die cut to frame my digi stamp and added rhinestones and liquid pearls to accent my card! I hope you enjoy this card and you will join the fun! I can't wait to see your creations!
I am entering this card at the following challenges:

My Song: Puppy Love (Paul Anka)
And they called it puppy love
Oh, I guess they'll never know
How a young heart really feels
And why I love her so
And they called it puppy love
Just because we're in our teens
Tell them all, please tell them it isn't fair
To take away my only dream
I cry each night my tears for you
My tears are all in vain
I'll hope and I'll pray that maybe someday
You'll be back in my arms once again
This is not a puppy love, not a puppy love

Happy Birthday Logan!

Today is my middle grandson "Logan's" birthday! Happy Birthday! Logan! I am so blessed to be your "Grammy"! I thought this sweet digi  called  X-box Gamer from "Cute As A Button" was perfect for Logan. He loves playing his x-box! The 'Grape Soda' (see the pop cans) is a joke between Logan and I  from the advertisement on T.V.  about "Winston" and his grandmother. Those of you who have seen this ad will know what I am talking about! If you have never shopped the "Cute As A Button"  store I urge you to pop on over and do so! You can also find a wonderful array of digi stamps to fit any need or occasion! You can also find "Cute As A Button" on Facebook.  I hope you will hop on over to the shop and check them out!
I am entering this card at the following challenges:

My Song: Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday to you
Only one will not do
Born again means salvation
We hope you've had two!
