How Sweet It Is!!

I think the first stamped images that I fell in love with were Magnolias. I have a large plastic tub full of them and when new ones come out I want more! I must admit that i love the changes to the new images with the longer hair. I have had this image colored for over a month but needed to get it made up in a card and then posted. This summer has been such a busy one that I have not been able to keep up with everything! Anyway, I hope you enjoy this card and that all the kids heading back to school will have a wonderful year!
I am entering this card at the following challenges:

My Song: How Sweet It Is
How sweet it is to be loved by you. How sweet it is to be loved by you.
I needed the shelter of someone's arms and there you were.
I needed someone to understand my ups and downs and there you were.
With sweet love and devotion, deeply touching my emotion,
I want to stop and thank you baby. I want to stop and thank you baby.
How sweet it is to be loved by you. How sweet it is to be loved by you.

A Pre-Colored Image!

Have you ever needed a card in a hurry and just didn't have time to sit and color an image. It is nice to know that THE PAPER SHELTER has me covered on those occasions. All of the digital images that you purchase come with a colored image that you can use on those hurry up, I've got to have it days! This image is called "Exotic Enchantment" and you can click on the link to find her. I will point out that my printer is not the best and the quality you get does not do the image justice. I just added a bit of Stickles to her wings and the fairy dust. I added rhinestone flowers to the die cut and some pretty flowers and ribbon to finish off this quick card. I was pleased with my quick card and glad I didn't have to panic coming up with a special card for a friend. I hope you enjoy this card and that you will give the lovely images at THE PAPER SHELTER  a will love all the options you have! Have a great week and blessings to each of you!

I hope you will join us for this fun challenge and I am sure I will see some new dies and punches that I have missed along the way! LOL! BTW be sure and check out my teammates beautiful creations. They are such a talented group of girls!
I am entering this card at the following challenges:

My Song: Tim McGraw
There's two things I know for sure:
She was sent here from heaven and she's daddy's little girl.
As I drop to my knees by her bed at night
She talks to Jesus and I close my eyes
and I thank god for all of the joy in my life
Oh, but most of all

For butterfly kisses after bedtime prayer;
sticking little white flowers all up in her hair;
"Walk beside the pony, Daddy, it's my first ride."
"I know the cake looks funny, Daddy, but I sure tried."
Oh, with all that I've done wrong, I must have done something right
To deserve a hug every morning And butterfly kisses at night.

Brithday Card for my Son

A closer look at the image
A closer look at the leaf!

I am very late in  posting this! It was my son's birthday card and his birthday was in June! To say that I have been busy this summer is an understatement. Plus being without a computer for a few weeks really threw me off kilter! I am hoping August brings  a little more time to organize and know where I am at on this blog.

Light the Candles!

I have a dear friend who just had a birthday. We always go out to lunch to celebrate and I had to make her this card. I actually saw this image on a friend's blog (Cards, Cats, and Copics) and knew it would be the perfect card for my friend Lou Ann. I must be at the 'advanced' age where this type of humor appeals to me. I love how her glasses turned out. I colored them with a red Spica pen and then added liquid glass!
I am still trying to sort my computer out. It seems when I had it cleaned that it cleared all of the blogs that I follow off. I was thinking that no one liked me anymore but I think it is I who has missed out on postings of your lovely work. Bear with me as I continue to sort out this mess. (Amanda, I am assuming that is why I never hear from you anymore?) Oh, I hate techi problems.
Hope your week-end is filled with blessings.
I am entering this card at the following challenges:
My Song: Come On Over
Get a life-get a grip
Get away somewhere, take a trip
Take a break-take control

Come on over-come on in

Come on over-come on in
You can unwind-take a load off your mind
