A Cheerful Christmas Ornament!

 A closer look!

Merry Christmas to all! I hope everyone is ready for the big day and that you have the true spirit of Christmas! This is the last challenge for the year for The Paper Shelter! Be sure and join in as there is truly a fabulous prize to be had. I have chosen the oh so cute "A Cheerful Snowman" to make a Christmas ornament with! You can find him by clicking on the link! I had some metal discs and wanted to use them for Christmas ornaments. I printed my digi and then cut it out with a stitched circle. After coloring with copics, I added pearl drops for the snow falling, liquid glass to the nose and coal, a Christmas bow and finally some glitter to add a little sparkle! Which the lights on my tree pick up so it looks so pretty! Don't you love that you can use these digi's for so many things? I do and will be making more ornaments in the future with digi stamps from The Paper Shelter!  May each of you have a "Christ" mas filled with our greatest gift, Jesus!  Merry Christmas to all and see you next year!

A "Wee" bit of Christmas!

 It seems every year I get behind on my Christmas cards and I need to keep working on them! This is one of my favorite "Wee" Stamps. I love this artist's work and always look forward to the new stamps when they come out. I added some wooden snowflakes and topped those with a little red rhinestone. My camera (or perhaps the photographer) can't seem to capture the sparkle on my cards. It is there and you just have to look a bit closer. I also used a bit of puffy paint for the snow falling. Another card to add to my Christmas Stash!

I have chosen the lovely "Heart of Christmas" for my card! This is such a versatile image and can be used for many occasions. I colored my image with Copics and fussy cut it out. My paper came from the neverending scrap box. I used a sparkle pen for the little snowflakes and Liquid Glass for the ice cycles hanging on the branches. and the pretty heart she is holding. My photography skills do not show how the heart is popping  and is so shiny! I added a pre-made flower and glittered letters for the Happy Birthday Sentiment! Tis The Season!

Good Morning Everyone! Are you all busy getting those Christmas cards made to send out. It seems like I always need just one more! It is also time for another fun challenge at The Paper Shelter. Our theme this time is . . . . "A Christmas Card"! So no excuses for not adding to your Christmas card stash!

I chose the darling image "Full of Hope" for my Christmas Card. I drew in the wood floor to create more of a scene. I added a few stickles to the fire to make it look as if the  wood was popping. I cut my sentiment out and attached it to a stitched circle. A tiny bow and some rhinestones finished off my card. Now to get a letter written and post this in the mail. I hope you will join the fun and maybe you will be the next winner of a great prize!

Is everyone ready for fall? I have to admit it is my favorite time of year. 

 So, as we want and need rain in my neck of the woods I chose this lovely stamp from The Paper Shelter! She is called "The Sun Is In My Heart"! Isn't she adorable? You can find her here. Also, some of you may recognize her from a coloring class at Kit and Clowder. I loved this class and I just need to get the time to take more of the classes. If you have never taken a class from Kit and Clowder you are really missing out! The Paper Shelter is one of the great companies that support these classes with their beautiful stamps!  The time has come for another great challenge at The Paper Shelter. This should be an easy one for you, it is "Punches and Dies". I have to admit I love using both but often lean to the dies. I have a very small craft room and it helps me with storage to be able to use dies. I am excited to see your lovely punches and dies. (Just in case I am missing some!) LOL! Creative Crafter's Challenge

 

I decided to have me a fun day of coloring and I had to color this cutie. I am blessed to have three adorable grandsons that I love with all my heart but, I would always welcome a little girl in the batch (hint, hint)! My Little Dragon!

The Inside of My Card!

 

Good morning peeps! I hope everyone is having a great summer. Our summer has been a bit hectic and filled with Dr. appointments.This card was such a fun make. The adorable stamp is from The Paper Shelter  and she is called My Little Dragon! I colored the stamp with Copics and added some Liquid Glass to her shield, the handle of her sword, the rubies on her helmet, wrist band, and shoes and to the Dragons fire! I then used "Wink of Stella" to add some sparkle to the helmet. I also used some Stickles to make the fire look 'hot'! Some pretties from Queen and Co. and a gold string finished off this card. I thought the sentiment was perfect for this, but I am afraid I don't remember where I purchased it.   I wanted to invite all of you to join the fun at The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog. Ribbons and Buttons

A closer look!

 

I had this darling digi colored for ages and I finally got her made into a card! This cute dig is from The Paper Shelter and she is called Magical Light! It is also once again time for another fun challenge at The Paper Shelter! This challenge is Ribbons and Buttons! That is what we need to see on your entries. If you check out my light you will see it has almost a marble effect! Truly a magical light, right? I had covered the light fixture with liquid glass and was busily working along. I had carefully laid this card aside for the liquid glass to dry and after a few more cards were added to my pile I realized I was stacking them on top of the tacky liquid glass. So, that pretty swirl of brown is actually fibers from the card that was on top of it. No great trick of swirling paint or fantastic coloring technique I just added more liquid glass! LOL! It turned out better than I thought it would!

It seems as if this has been a long, dreary, winter and even though spring means my work load gets heavier with the increase of yard work, I am ready for it. How about you? Have you ever thought how much work a spa day is? LOL! Well, it seems like work to me. I guess I am not a spa type girl. LOL! Anyway, it is time for a new challenge at "The Paper Shelter". It's true jeans, t-shirts, and just a touch of make-up is more my style! LOL! I am glad my husband is happy with me just the way I am! Darn I Missed This!

 

I and Blogger have not had some happy days as of late. Also, I have had a hectic few weeks and it will be even worse the next two weeks as I will work a temporary job in special elections. I do this to earn money for my trip to Puyallup each year to the Scrapbook Show there. But, it means six days a week with my work day starting at 4:30AM and ending at 6:30PM. I know I will totally exhausted at the end of the two weeks but it pays the piper! LOL! Somehow my card for The Creative Crafters never posted! It is a card that I was pleased with the end results and now it is to late to enter in challenges! Arrrrrrr!  Anyway, it is NOT to late for you to enter The Creative Crafters Challenge! I love this sweet image form Polk A Doodles! During the harsh winter months it is important to remember the animals that are struggling to make it through the winter.
