I admit it! This is my favorite card. I guess I am more of a simple card rather than a lot of frills. I also love this image. the jeans and sweet, thoughtful look on this little girls face are perfect. I hope you have enjoyed seeing the cards I created. I wish I could have shared them all,,,,maybe next year!

Thankful!
I had lots of fun playing with my color's on this card. Pink, Red, and Green, not something I would usually use together, but I did have fun with it.
Thinking of You~
Doesn't this just make you feel happy. I discovered that only a few of my cards are on my camera. Ugh...this has not been a tech-positive week for me. First my computer crashed, then I couldn't down load my pictures and now I find that half of my pictures are gone as the cards were handed out on Friday I guess I will only be able to share what I have. Oh, well, I was really blessed by working all week at VBS.
Thankful for you
This is such a cute image for a teenage girl! I love using these stamps to practice my coloring with Copics. I am still struggling with the hair and highlights, but it is getting a little better with practice.
You Rock!
The boy's who worked at VBS were awesome! It is so nice to see such great kids doing positive things!
"I am thankful!"
I just finished a week of Vacation Bible School! We had
17 Junior High and High School age kids that were crew leaders. They were such outstanding kids that I decided to make them each a personal thank you card! I will try and share them with you. I am on a new laptop computer as my old one had a major melt down this last week. I hope you enjoy each of the cards and that you can guess the personality of each worker. Thanks guys you are the best and you have blessed my life.

Love---Father's Day!
Normally I give my husband a very masculine card, but this year he is getting one that might just be a little 'girly'. But, after 38 almost 39 years of marriage he knows not to be surprised and to tell me he loves the card! I had so much fun coloring this image. It is a free coloring page that was resized from Precious Moments. I used my copics to color the image. I hope each of you will get the opportunity to use these wonderful markers. If I have one complaint about them it would be nice if they were manufactured in the USA. I hate to see jobs and $$$ going overseas. Ok, now I am off my soap box, I will move on to my flower which I made from my scallop punch and inked the edges with 'Close to Cocoa". I love making flowers and often make them when I sitting with my husband watching the 'boob tube' in the evening. My card making friend (the "Other Patti S) directed me to some great videos and I have been playing with them since. I hope each of you enjoys your day with the father's in your life.
"I Hope You Dance"
I think this image is so sweet! But, I am a "Magnolia Addicted"! I also love to rip an edge. The image is colored with Copics (my other drug of choice). The ovals were cut using my Creative Memories cutting system. I used my spica pens to add a little bling. The ribbon came on a bouquet of flowers, and the paper and pearls are all from 'scraps'. This card will go into my stash waiting for the right home to send it to. Have a great fun Friday!
"Sometimes You Need a Professional"
Don't you just love this image. I am making this card for a friend who works at a bank and she has been trying to get an IRA account straightened out for me. When I first saw these stamps, I thought I would not like them. But after seeing some cards made with them, I loved them! The stamps are LoraLie Art Stamps and there are so many and they are all cute. Lot's of fun for girlfriends. I colored the image with copics and added the polk-a-dots with my colorless blender. (A technique I learned at the Copics certification class!) I added a little bling with a stardust pen and punched a lace boarder with a Martha Stewart Boarder punch. Just a fun card to play with.
Flutterby's!
This is an image that was used at my Copic's class to teach feathering. I need lots of practice. I love this image and hope it becomes a stamp....hint, hint! I turned this card sideways because.....I made a mistake...hard to believe and glued my paper on upside down. Ugh...I hate when that happens! I am calling this "Flutterby's". My grandson's word for butterfly's. I sent this card to a special lady at church who is a prefect example of God's love. Thanks Dorothy, you are one in a million.

Copic Certification
Just a quick note today! I have been busy since last Friday working on decorations for Vacation Bible School. I did manage to squeeze in a copics class Saturday night and then the Copics Certification class all day Sunday! It is amazing how fast a seven hour day can pass. If you have never taken a class from Jennie Black I strongly recommend you schedule one in the future. She is a fantastic, fun, teacher. Thanks Jennie you made my day. I plan to post some new cards but, this week and next our very busy, so it may take until the end of the month....ugh long dry spell for me. Have a great week and don't forget to send someone a card, just because you love them.

"In The Pink of Things"
For some reason this image makes me think of my daughter. She is always put together with her outfits. (I am her despair as an old pair of jeans and a T-shirt suit me fine! l.o.l's) This is another card I used the screen card technique by Jane Johnson, I punched out butterflies and glued them around the edges. I sponged each of the punched edges with SU's Close To Cocoa ink, and also the circle punched pieces I used for the centers of the flowers. I added paper flowers to give the card more dimension. I also embossed the pink card stock. This is a card that takes time but it is fun to do. I will add a sentiment later when I find a need for this card. I love having cards on hand (at least that is what I tell my husband!) Hope you enjoy the cards for 'fun friday'. Have a blessed week-end.
"Miss You"
I love the expression on this little Maggie, she is supposed to be "Spooky" but I think she looks a little sad. She makes the perfect 'Miss You' image. I thought I would send this to a friend who needs a little cheering up. I stamped the image, colored it with copics and then cut it out and used dimensionals to adhere the image to the card. The card is very simple, but sometimes less is best. I encourage everyone to send someone a card just to brighten their day.
"One For The Girls"
I absolutely love "Inky Impressions" stamps. This is one of my very favorites. I used my Creative Memories oval and cut the DP. I then punched out various shapes. and glued them to the edge of the oval. I saw this technique on a web site and the card I cased was created by Jane Johnson, it is such a pretty idea. Because this stamp is so 'girly' (spell check is going to love that word). I could not resist adding all the frills. I had so much fun adding all the flowers, butterflies, dragonflies and flowers. Don't you think each adds a special touch? I punched various flowers, inked them on the edges, I punched the centers of each flower with various size circle punches. I then added some paper flowers, some I made and some I had on hand. I stamped my "Inky" on paper and colored her with copics and then cut her out and used dimensionals to adhere her to the oval. The oval is the backside of the DP. I haven't decided on the sentiment yet, I will just wait until a special card is needed and then stamp it.
"Thinking of You"
I was so excited I received my very first "ODB" stamps today. I could not wait to ink them up. The image is Magnolia Stamp and the paper is from SU. The lace boarder done with a Martha Stewart boarder punch. The die is from Nestabilities. I colored the image with copics and added a little glitz with the sparkly red shoes. I also wanted to make this Maggie a red head. I add bling with my sparkly rhinestones. I also inked the edges of the dies with 'close to cocoa' from SU. This was a fun card to make and it will find a special home soon.
"Ahhh....Nuts"
Above is the inside of both cards! Love to let the little ones know that Grammy and Papa miss them.
Recently, my two grandsons Luke (4) and Logan (3) were visiting, I dropped a glass and said, "Ahh, nuts!" They both thought this was so funny. So I had to dig this stamp set out to send them each a card. The image is from "Whipper Snapper", the paper is all from my never ending scrap box. The bling brads are from Oriental trading, I chalked the edges of the image with SU chalk and colored the image with copics. I know the two boys will get a kick out their cards! I hope you enjoy them. This is the second version of the card, this way each boy will get their 'own' mail.

A Tribute To My Mom & Dad
Paper Craft Planet's challenge for to day was to write a tribute about someone you admire. Mine is about my mom and dad. They were both hard working, honest, caring people. Neither parent had an 'education' beyond 8th grade, yet they were more learned than most college educated individuals. They taught my two brothers and myself the worth of any job and doing it well. We were blessed to live in a home where we were loved and taught to value others. They have both passed away, I love and miss them both terribly, but I also know that my life was blessed because they were my parents. I hope that each of you will stop and reflect on those you love and those who have influenced you. Life is short we should embrace each day as a gift from our Lord.

"Happy Birthday Traci"
This card was created for my daughter. Her birthday is next week. I wanted to create a card that had lots of bling, that was 'girly' and yet had a little toughness. I felt this Magnolia stamp was the prefect fit. I used the ribbon slide in a different way, I wish my photo was better, but it created a twist on the ribbon. The lace boarder is a Martha Stewart punch, the flowers came from Wild Orchid Crafts. (A great place to buy flowers from.) The image was colored with Copics and the sentiment was from SU. The paper is from a DP. I loved the spring colors and I am using this card for a challenge at Stamp TV.
Happy Birthday baby girl, I am so proud and blessed to be your mom.
"Happy Anniversary Mark & Wendy"
This card was made for some very special friends. Tomorrow is their '34' wedding anniversary. They are a wonderful couple and I love them. I wanted to give them a card that would show them how special they are. Wendy is the one who started me on my road to 'paper craft addiction'. Once I started I have never looked back. She will appreciate the work that went in this card and know that it comes from the heart. So Happy Anniversary to Mark and Wendy! I hope we can celebrate many, many, more with you!

Magnolia Spring
Because we have had nothing but rain for two weeks I decided to create a spring card for the first of June! I love this Magnolia image and knew she was the one to grace this card. I used scrap pieces from my scrap box. (I am bound and determined to use up my scraps!) I used nestabilities for the heart, Martha Stewart boarder punch and the sentiment is from SU. I colored my image with copics. I made this card from a sketch challenge I saw on line, but for the life of me I can not find again. You can tell I had a long holiday week-end. I can't remember a darn thing today! Oh, well! I hope you enjoy my spring card!
"For the Birds"
I think this little bird has had it with our dreary weather. I love this little guy! The stamp is from "Stamps Happen". I actually bought it at a yard sale. I chose to keep this simple. I hope it will put a smile on a special friends face.
"Born To Be Wild"
This card is dedicated to my brother-in-law "Mick". I love the image of the 'older' man still living his dream. Somehow this image brought Mick to mind. I hope he enjoys the image as much as I do! The digital image is from Karen's Doodles. I colored it with Copic markers. The over sized eyelets are from SU. I had meant to emboss with my diamond plate folder, but I grabbed the argyle instead. I thought this added to the 'week-end' rebel! Sometimes I like to do a card for no reason but that it is fun!
"What A Catch"
Another card for the grandsons. They are aged four and three. Both are playing T-Ball for the first time and so excited about it. I cased this card from Lori Aragon. She had such a cute card that I knew I would have to do one for each of the grands. This is a digital image from Karen's Doodles! I think he is so cute! There is a father bear included behind him, I chose to cut out the little bear. I used my Cricut to cut out the baseball mitt, and a Martha Stewart boarder punch. Just a fun way to say hi to my little guys!
A Letter Home
I wanted to get this posted before Memorial Day. I remember when my brother was in Vietnam, my mom and dad looked forward to every little piece of news from him. Often the letters were just a scribble on a scrap of paper that was quickly posted. This image (from Stamping Up) reminds me of those days. My thanks to each and every veteran who has served or is now serving in the military. Because of you I am free today. I honor you and the sacrifice you made for me. Thank You!
