I Hope You Dance

When my daughter was little she took ballet, tap and jazz dance lessons. She was so cute up on stage dancing and doing her little programs. I think that is why this is one of my favorite Tilda images. I added lots of liquid pearls, and stickles. The paper lace is a Magnolia die and is one of my favorites. I spent forever picking my paper and then covered most of it up....does that make any since at all? This is one more of the lost cards. but I know it will be  a card that finds a home with my daughter....just to brighten her day. 

I want to point out her hair....I am so jazzed as I think I am beginning to get the hang of it....lol....for those of you who find it easy to color hair....argh....I don't!  Have a great week and enjoy the challenges that come your way!

A Christmas Fairy

This is a lovely 'Wee" image. She is one of my favorites to color and use at Christmas. I just had a wonderful thought....I am officially ahead on my Christmas cards for next year! HA!  The paper lace is a die my DH bought me. I just love it and I added red 'berries' with Stickles. I used Copics and Twin markers to color my image and lots of Stickles, Spica pens, and glitter on this card. A cute little ribbon and a scallop die cut finished off my card.  i hope you enjoy a peek at Christmas to come....ha....I am so relieved that I am not forgetful.....just well prepared for next Christmas.

The Hunger Games

We recently watched 'The Hunger Games'. I had already read the books and so I was please that the movie followed it so close. Since I am a fan I was sure I 'needed' this Saturated Canary image! LOL. She is a fun color and for the life of me I can't imagine what I was thinking with the Christmas trees. I guess that is the danger of misplacing cards before you post them. I colored the image with Copics and Twin Markers. This is another of the lost cards. I hope your week is going well and that March is coming in like a Lion.

Fall Fairy & TPS Challenge!

When I first saw this cute TPS fairy, I just knew I had to make a fall card with her! Our challeng at THE PAPER SHELTER is 'Elves and  Fairies'. TPS has such a wide variety of both and all are such fun images to color. I wish my picture captured all the sparkle on this card. I added extra fine glitter to the wings and liguid glass to the paint and paint puddles. My ribbon is very sparkly  but just doesn't show up well in the phote. My flowers are die cut with a pearl brad in the center. I hope you will grab your favorite TPS image and join our fun challenge. I can't wait to see your lovely creations. Life Is A Zoo!

I don't know why, but I love making Christmas cards. I think it might be the colors of Christmas that seem so bright and pretty. This cute little image is a Sugar Nellie  and I love it. I think I might have gone a little overboard on my 'glitter', but it was fun having all that sparkle flying about! I also used some fun flock...not so fun having it fly about as it makes me sniff and sneeze. My snowflakes are also covered with glitter, except for the one inside the spellbinders frame and it is iridescent. My sentiment is from LOTV and I love these sentiments. I used a red and glitter spica pen to add a bit of bling to the sentiment. I added some ribbon...and speaking of ribbon our sponsor for this challenge is

they have some yummy ribbons! Our Challenge this time at ABC is "Z" (I can't believe we have gone through the alphabet already!) ...back to"Z" for zoo!
