Card Recipe:

I have used Morgan's Artworld Image "Teddy Bear Character's 2" you can find it here!

I have coloured my Image with Copic Markers and also utilized my Kit and Clowder Class to color up this image!

My sentiment is a die cut !

I fussy cut both bears and die cut the hearts. Using Pop Dots I added dimension to my card!

I have used Morgan's Artworld Image "Fae In The Wind" you can find it here!

This is another card for one of the kids who was baptized in our church! I love this darling stamp is called "Redemption Plan" from "Cute As A Button". I added some wheat die cuts that I cut out of gold foil paper. I also cute the blessed with card stock and also some foam to pop it! After adding the sentiment  and my stamp on the back, my card is ready for one special little girl!

Our grandson was recently baptized. I wanted to make him a 'special' card for this day. He is also an avid soccer ball player. So, I used this cute stamp from Cute As A Button! To make this card. The digi stamp is called "Soccer Pro"!  I have a cute tag on the inside that you lift to see a special message underneath it. The inside sentiment is from Our Daily Bread. I used various dies and colored my digi stamp with Copics! I hope you like this special card for a special young man in my life!

Fall Colors!

 

Have you ever had one of those days when you start coloring and everything is just flowing perfect and you are almost done with your coloring and you decide to go back and add a touch more shadow and then the 'blob' happens? Well, it happened three times when I was I was making this card! I must say I was so happy with the first coloring that I am disappointed with this one. But, after the work to get a usable image I was bound and determined to use it! LOL!

Take A Walk

 

I am 'trying' to think outside of the box and make myself do new and different things. This card is total die cuts. No stamping! I did color it but that was it. My die cut for the lady inside the card is a wee bit big for the perspective but it was what I had. I did add acetate to the window and some Nuvo Pearl Drops for the snow.  Tell me what you think!

Embossing of Any Kind!??

I must admit that this card was a challenge for me! I don't heat emboss often because I am never happy with it. I tried several different embossing powders, but I never got that pretty smooth look I wanted. Then the dry embossing. I have this beautiful embossing folder that I was dying to use. It was then I found that with my platform and Big shot I was unable to run the embossing folder through my Big Shot. I finally used one plate and a bunch of shims to make it work. LOL! Yes this was a challenge for me! LOL! It is time for another fun? challenge at The Paper Shelter! This time we want to see embossing of any kind! (Even my poor embossing!) So grab your embossing folders, embossing powder and join in on the fun! I used the darling "In The 20's" digital stamp for my card!

 My pretty embellishments

I am still struggling with my coloring since I broke my arm and shoulder. Some days it seems everything works pretty good and then some days my arm will jerk involuntary and I can't blend, or add the detail I want. On those days hair is a nightmare. When I colored this darling stamp from The Paper Shelter I was having 'one of those days'! Thank heavens this is such a cute stamp that I am hoping the recipient will not notice!   This cute stamp is called A Refreshing Break and you can find it here!  The pretty little flowers are from Queen & Co. I thought they were the perfect touch for the card! Just a little birthday card that I hope will brighten someone's day!

Happy Labor Day everyone! As I watch all the changes good and bad in our country I still would not change where I live for any other country. I hope today each of you will stop and reflect on what it took to make our country great. Unlike some politicians I think America is great and it is up to each of us to keep it that way. 

On to my card! I am using "Liberty Mermaid" from Cute As A Button.  I wish you could see it IRL as the sparkle does not show up well in my pictures. She is a great example of our red, white and blue! Last Fun At The Beach!

As summer draws to an end I thought I had best get this card posted. I had such a fun time coloring this cute digital stamp from The Paper Shelter! I am using the sweet stamp "Have Fun In The Sun"! It seem as if she has found the perfect way to end the summer don't you think? I colored the stamp with Copics and added some liquid glass to the ice cream, sunglasses, sunshine, he bracelets, and the letters on the sign! Paper lace and some crochet lace finished off this fun card!
