The Monster Mash!

 Inside of my card!
The Halloween season is upon us. We really don't make a big production at our house about Halloween. But, we do hand out candy and I try to make cards for the grandsons, and some special treats for them. This card is for my oldest grandson Luke. He is growing so fast and is already just about taller than his grammy. He has brought me such love and joy and I am so proud of him.  I have teased him dancing the 'monster mash' and telling him that I will perform it at the middle school where he attends. (He thinks I am not serious but might just be a bit nervous about it!) LOL!
I used an old stamp for this card, colored it with Copics, fussy cut it and then popped it with foam squares. I die cut the "Halloween" letters and placed them over a gold foil piece I had. I also cut the moon out of the same gold foil. The DP is from Oriental Trading ( I use their paper for cards but not for scrapbooking!) The inside of the card I used another gold foil moon and added some google eye bat brads, also from OT. The sentiment comes from a $1.00 bin at Joann's.
I am entering this card at the following challenges:

My Song: The Monster Mash (what else?) by Bobbie Pickett
I was working in the lab, late one night
When my eyes beheld an eerie sight
For my monster from his slab, began to rise
And suddenly to my surprise
He did the mash, he did the monster mash
The monster mash, it was a graveyard smash
He did the mash, it caught on in a flash
He did the mash, he did the monster mash
From my laboratory in the castle east
To the master bedroom where the vampires feast
The ghouls all came from their humble abodes
To get a jolt from my electrodes
They did the mash, they did the monster mash
The monster mash, it was a graveyard smash
They did the mash, it caught on in a flash
They did the mash, they did the monster mash
The zombies were having fun
The party had just begun
The guests included Wolfman,
Dracula, and his son
The scene was rockin', all were digging the sounds
Igor on chains, backed by his baying hounds
The coffin-bangers were about to arrive
With their vocal group, 'The Crypt-Kicker Five'
They played the mash, they played the monster mash
The monster mash, it was a graveyard smash
They played the mash, it caught on in a flash
They played the mash, they played the monster mash
