Every time I look at this stamp I think of "deer in the headlights look". It reminds me of the look on little girl's faces at their first formal dance. If this girl was like me, underneath that beautiful dress is knees with band-aids on them and feet that wobbled in pumps, that pinched my toes. LOL! I used my BV Copics in coloring this image. They tend to be a challenge for me as I can't find the 'perfect' blends. I spent a long time coloring the bow in the girl's hair and then used the wrong glue to add some glitter and the glitter completely covered the bow and my coloring. I did add some Spica pen to the earrings and the little jewel necklace. Some pretty shiny baubles are in all four corners. A Spellbinder lace edger added some pretty lace to the card. The Scripture is from Our Daily Bread. I hope you enjoy this card. I am entering it at the following challenges:
My Song: I Hope You Dance
I hope you never lose your sense of wonder
You get your fill to eat but always keep that hunger
May you never take one single breath for granted
God forbid love ever leave you empty handed
I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean
Whenever one door closes I hope one more opens
Promise me that you'll give faith a fighting chance
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
I hope you dance

It may have not been what you meant, but I love the sparkle on her bow. =) In fact, I love all of the sparkle you added to this card!
Thank you for joining us at Li’l Patch of Crafty Friends for our challenge.
Thx for joining us at Scrapper's Delights challengeblog. It's a bommer when you have put a lot of effort into something and when you are about to do that little xtra it messes up... but your card turned out just fab.
Beautiful card. I have that same sentiment stamp and it's one of my favs. Thanks for joining us at Scrappers Delights
