"A New Kid In Town"

 A closer look
 pearls and swirls
 inside detail
I was excited to share this card with you. First, I want to say a bit about 'the new kid in town', I don't really know how 'new' he is but this artist has some fabulous work! Raul Guerra is the artist and you can find his etsy shop here: https://www.etsy.com/es/shop/digistampatelier?ref=hdr_shop_menu . If you take the time to check him out you will see some of the most fabulous images. This image is called "I love U". This image is so different from what I normally color but I had a wonderful time coloring it and can't wait to tackle it again with a different color pallet. I did add some clear glitter to the gold fish and IRL they pop off the card. I added Spica pen to various other areas to add touches of sparkle. I colored this image with Copic pens. Because I wanted the image to be the main focal point I used some pearls in swirl patterns to draw your eye to the image. I hope you will hop over to Raul's etsy shop and grab a few of his images and give them a try. Leave him some notes as he is new to the card/craft group. (I am afraid he thinks I might be a stalker!) LOL!
I am entering this card at the following challenges:

My Song: (Kathy Mattea) A New Kid in Town (couldn't help myself)
We're looking for The King
The new Messiah
We're following the star
Shining brighter
Old man won't you help us if you can
He shook his head
But he pointed his hand
There's a new kid in town
And he's lying in a manger down the road
There's a new kid in town
But he's just another baby I suppose
Heaven knows
There's a new kid in town
Here in Bethlehem

This is absolutely beautiful!!Gosh...so love the colors! It grabs you the moment you see it. I will have to check this guy out. I haven't been coloring much lately and not to your extent. Yes, my brother has a church and I never have thought of that, but I know my brother is so proud he never would ask. Thank you and I'll llok into it for my ride back to the airport....wonderful idea!
