A smile and a Song

Have you ever had a card that proved to be a bit challenging? This card was it for me! It is also proof that you can fix just about any mistake. First I colored the image . Everything went pretty well with that. Then I got the not so brilliant idea that I would use a stylus and bow her face out a bit. Don't ask me why but the next thing I was looking at was a big hole where the face should have been. So off to color another face and then fussy cut it and then glue it on top of the ruined face. (Sort of like plastic surgery!) LOL! Next I wanted to add just a bit of red pen to the vest. When I popped the lid off my pen  two little drops of red ink spattered on the page by the image. Arhhhhh! Out came the liquid pearls to cover those. By this time I am ready to  trash heap the whole thing, but then. I was feeling a bit stubborn that day. Next I glued on my lovely flowers from WOC. Of course I had a bit of glue on my fingers and touched the center of the flower, off came the pretty fuzzy center. Of course i didn't have any flower soft that color so after a bit of pondering I used Stickles to add so bling.  Whew....a bit of a challenge there! Anyway, you get the picture, what should have been an easy card took forever...but it is done! I hope you will join us at The Paper Shelter this time. The challenge is Flower Power....we want to see lots of flowers on your cards. Maybe your card will be easier for you! Have a wonderful day!
I am entering this card at the following challenges:
My Song: A Smile and a Song (from Snow White)
With a smile and a song
Life is just a bright sunny day
Your cares fade away
And your heart is young
With a smile and a song
All the world seems to waken anew
Rejoicing with you
As the song is sung
There's no use in grumbling
When the raindrops come tumbling
Remember, you're the one
Who can fill the world with sunshine
When you smile and you sing
Everything is in tune and it's spring
And life flows along
With a smile and a song

I want to say "too funny" but it's not. I've been there and done that! I think the biggest fun to come out of the card is your imagination for the boo boos. I must hand it to you....I never would had know. so glad you didn't give up on her and we have her to enjoy to look at this morning.

Well, it may have taken awhile but it was sooo worth it! Love the accent of the liquid pearls and you would never know this card has lots of "fixes" on it.
