My New/Old Rocker

I wanted to share pictues of my beautiful antique rocker my husband purchased for me. My BIL found it in a shop in Oregon. The couple selling it were in their late 80's and they found this rocker in an abandoned cabin in Alaska. I would love to have more information about this rocker if anyone knows anything about it. I like to imagine it was a place for a tired mother to settle in the evenings around a warm fire, as she rocked babies and did hand work. I love it and love my husband and BIL for getting it for me.

Love rockers and old ones are even better. This one looks in great shape. Now this makes me want to start looking for one for my house, it'd be great in a log house.
hugs, Ruth Ann
