"Anything" but a Card!

A candy box made from acetate!

One more look at the image!
A closer look at the image!
I have to apologize for the pictures of my acetate box. I could not get a good picture of it to save me. The acetate kept reflecting the light and I could not get a full picture of the box. I will say, it was a lot of fun to make and I plan on making more of them. I received a gift from a dear friend who passed away last year, (Amanda Reed) the gift was a Candy Box Punch Board by We R Memory Makers. This is the first time I used it and I don't know why I didn't use it sooner. It was so fun and simple to use....right up my alley! Anyway, our challenge at THE PAPER SHELTER  is "Anything But A Card".  Hop on over and check out my team mates wonderful creations. Remember if you use a Paper Shelter image you could win $30.00 in images from THE PAPER SHELTER. So get busy and join in on the fun.
I am entering this candy box in the following challenges:

My Song: The Hollies
Just one look, that's all it took, yeah
Just one look, and I felt so I, I, I'm in love with you, oh oh
I found out how good it feels to have your love, oh oh
Say you will, will be mine forever and always, oh oh
Just one look and I knew that you were my only one, oh
I thought I was dreaming but I was wrong, yeah yeah yeah
Oh, but I'm gonna keep on scheming till I can make you
Make you my own

Ok....this is crazy fun. I have a silhouette pattern for this but your wonderful gift from your dear departed friend would be awesome. I NEVERTHELESS thought of using acetate. How did you do the image on it? Did you fuzzy cut and attach or color scan and print directly on the acetate? Boy oh boy...you have got me inspired once again as usual!

Ok...I enlarge big big big and barely able to see the lines but I see you fuzzy cut. LOVING IT!

What a fabulous idea! Imagine all the pretty or delicious little treats that can go in this type of acetate box...I think of M&Ms...oh, so bad of me. But for a sweet little girl, how about a nice lip gloss. Or for a big sweet girl, what about some little paper flowers, brads or buttons? Oh, so many ideas...thank you for the inspiration! This image is truly adorable and colored beautifully! Hugs, Gail
