Winter Blues

After posting the proceeding card  I just had to color this lovely image from  The Paper Shelter  isn't she just the sweetest? You can purchase her here! OR....you could play along with our Winter Blues challenge and just maybe you will win and it will be yours for the choosing!

I know I am running a bit late or early? with this Christmas Card. But, I love coloring this charming image and just had to make one more card with it. I am also using it for the latest challenge at THE PAPER SHELTER. Our challenge this week is "Winter Blues"! We want to see your cards with the primary color of blue! Perfect for those chilly winter days. Pop on over to the Paper Shelter and grab one of their fabulous images and play along.
I am entering this card at the following challenges:

My Song: Alan Jackson
I'm gonna raise a fuss, I'm gonna raise a holler
About a workin' all summer just to try to earn a dollar
Every time I call my baby, and try to get a date
My boss says, "No dice son, you gotta work late"
Sometimes I wonder what I'm a gonna do
But there ain't no cure for the summertime blues

Well my mom and pop told me, "Son you gotta make some money,
If you want to use the car to go ridin' next Sunday"
Well I didn't go to work, told the boss I was sick
"Well you can't use the car 'cause you didn't work a lick"
Sometimes I wonder what I'm a gonna do
But there ain't no cure for the summertime blues

I'm gonna take two weeks, gonna have a fine vacation
I'm gonna take my problem to the United Nations
Well I called my congressman and he said quote:
"I'd like to help you son but you're too young to vote"
Sometimes I wonder what I'm a gonna do
But there ain't no cure for the summertime blues

These cards are awesome! Your coloring is outstanding and your choice of papers and embellishments are perfect for each card. The girl with the flute: fantastic diecuts across the top with the little hearts. It's a beautiful touch to this sweet image. The carolers: the snowflakes set off these beautiful carolers so wonderfully. Gorgeous cards. Hugs, Gail
