A look at the layers!
A closer look!
This posting has been a muddled mess for me. First I posted it on the wrong date, deleted it, but then had entered it into some challenges, before I deleted it, forgot which challenges....sorry ladies who tried to post a comment. Oh, dear....I hope they don't boot me to the door for this. Does anyone else make this type of mistake? Ughh...hate to be the only one. So, if this card looks familiar, it is, but shouldn't have been.
Anyway....if I haven't already spilled the beans, our challenge this week is "Love Is In The Air". I think I will go and breath some of that air. If you can't tell I am a bit frazzled this week. We have been running to Dr.'s and hospitals for tests on my DH and then with the fire at our church (where I am secretary) I am trying to 'punt' with all the jobs that have to get done. Every time I have to go to the church I come home smelling like smoke. (ugh) So, I hope you will forgive me if my posts are a bit crazy. (That's what I am using for an excuse!) On to my card ... this little guy was one of my first Paper Shelter images years ago. I just love the cute look on his face. I decided to layer him up so IRL he has so much depth. The bees and the flowers also pop at you. Because this image is so versatile I am going to use this card as a 'Mother's Day' card for a sweet lady at church. But our challenge this week at The Paper Shelter is "Love Is In The Air". Grab your favorite Paper Shelter image and play along.
I am entering this card at the following challenges:
My Song: "That's Amore!
When the moon hits your eye
Like a big-a pizza pie
That's amore
When the world seems to shine
Like you've had too much wine
That's amore

Hi Patty, I do hope the hospital appointment went well yesterday and you have good news. Sorry to hear about the fire at Church I hope it was a accident and not deliberate. A stunning card, love the way youve decoupaged the flowers and popped the gems in the middle. hugs Shirleyxxxxx

Oh honey, we must be related for sure! I have done this soooo many times. But it is all working out in the end! Such a cute image and I love the dimension!
You poor thing! Hope Steve is doing better and that work on the church can get started soon. I love your little bear and the dimension is awesome! Even with all of your stress you still manage to make beautiful cards.
I always make those mistakes, Alison (words and pictures. saw my dresss and told me to enter it into a challenge, my first one.
So I went back to add the challenge and ended up deleting 3 of the pics from my post, so my dear you are probably among many others, aren't we :):) No one will boot you anywhere LOL.. No reason to forgive anything sweet heart, life sometimes make it hard for us to create, other things come first. I hope your DH is okay. Now for the card, it's wonderful look at your fussy cutting, fabulous, he is a sweet bear. Those beautiful flowers with the gorgeous bling in the middle, your friend will love the card, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Thanks so much for taking the time to share.
I so love your card and the layering is really awesome. I sorta made a mess with one card like you mentioned. Seems like you finally got a handle on it but I e had one of those days too...hope it gets better...it still upsets me about your church.
Such a cute bear, love how you added dimension, so sweet
Hugs Julie P
