A Poor Man's Roses

 A crooked closer look
 Another look
I had to have another go at this image....she is fun to color. I am thinking I really love coloring with green lately. Don't really know why. I added a bit of Stickles to the dress to give it bling! I also chose a background paper that picked up the green and the red of the rose. I added some pretty rhinestones, paper lace and a sheer ribbon and bow to finish my card.
I am entering this card at the following challenges:
My song: Patsy Cine
I must make up my mind today
What to have, what to hold
A poor man's roses
Or a rich man's gold
One's as wealthy as a king in a palace
Tho' he's callous and cold
He may learn to give his heart for love
Instead of buyin' it with gold
Then the poor man's roses
And the thrill when we kiss
Will be memories of paradise
That I'll never miss
And yet the hand that brings the rose tonight
Is the hand I will hold
For the rose of love means more to me
More than any rich man's gold

I love green, it reminds me of nature and she looks lovely in this dress. Hey, did you jinx me yesterday cause I stuck my hand in wet stickles three times so if your ears were burning you know why!

She's just as beautiful as the other. I find working with green in copics the easiest and love working with it.haha I can't get the tune right in my head with the patsy Cline song. Anyway, gorgeous job and love love the BG paper to emphasis the colors in image.
