I have had this card around for a bit and never got it posted. Since it is quiet today I decided to post it. I know it is more of a summer image, but I thought I would post it anyway! My mom always loved chickens and so I thought of her a lot when I colored this. She has been gone 11 years and I still miss her and would love to sit and have a chat with her. I guess we never stop missing our moms and dads, do we? I hope if you mom and/or dad are still with you that you will take time to let them know how much you love them today! Yes Patty I do know how lost you feel over your mums death, I lost my mum now 3 years ago and I still get upset when I see her chocolates in the supermarket, I just wish I could pick up the phone for a chat.

Wonderful coloring Patty, her folds in her overalls look wonderful and I am very thankful I still have my mom and try not to take either of my parents for granted.
