"Go Ahead! Make My Day!"

When my kids lived at home I always encouraged them to try new things. I also told them that there was nothing wrong in failing if you were trying your best. These words came back to haunt me this week with this card. The challenge this week is "Vintage Grunge". Now, to 'make my day' I threw in steampunk using one of Kenny K's new Steampunk images Part 2. This is a fun image to color with lots of shadows and highlights....great for using those Copic skills! But, I have to admit on the rest of my card I struggled with 'grunge', 'vintage', 'steampunk'.....LOL! I hope everyone will forgive me for not being the best at this type of card! I inked the edges of all of my paper with SU Chocolate Chip. I added a lot of Spica pen for some sparkle and liquid glass to the goggles, gun and arm band. A 'vintage brad and lace, some gears and a 'grungy' map finished off my card! OK, make my day and tell me this all works! LOL! I hope you will hop over to http://kennykkraftygirlzchallenges.blogspot.com/ and join in the fun with Team "A" challenge this week. This week Kenny K is offering 5 digis and a fab $15.00 gift certificate from Bearly Mine Designs!
I am entering this card at the following challenges:

Well I think you did wonderful, the gears and the map are perfect! You should be patting yourself on the back cause I wouldn't have a clue what to do for vintage grunge!
