This is my final "Steampunk" card for today! Whew! Now, I will admit that I am never going to be a big steampunk kind of girl. I am beginning to think I don't have the imagination I need for these! You will have to check out the of DT members cards because they will fluff your feathers with their cards. The great thing for me in doing these cards is the images really require me to pay attention to the details in coloring I tried to give you a close up so you could see what I am talking about. I have had to think outside of the box this week and that is always good for me. Now for the details of this card! I colored the image with Copics. I framed the image with a warm chocolate piece of card stock. I added two brass brads from my stash and popped the image with foam squares. I added liquid glass to the goggles, air cylinders, and helmet (is that the correct term?). I also added a little Spica pen to all the bolts and buttons. I used a Lifestyle die to cut out the scallop circle (my version of a clam shell) and what's a clam shell without its pearls? I added some 'vintage' lace and a sticker sentiment to finish off my card. Hop on over to http://kennykkraftygirlzchallenges.blogspot.com/ and join in the fun this week! This week Kenny K is offering 5 digis and a fab $15.00 gift certificate from Bearly Mine Designs! Be sure check out the new Steampunk Part Two releases! Blessings!
