How To Add Paper Lace To Your Oval and Circles!

Lifestyle dies

Supplies I used! MS punch!

Any Oval or Circle die will work!

Clip between each paper lace piece!

Adhesive I used, again any will work!

Backside after adhesive!

Begin applying paper lace.

What front will look like.

Depending on the size you may need 2 strips of lace.

Done!

Where I joined two pieces!
Sorry this post is so long! I had so many request as to how or what die I used in yesterday's card. See "Sending Hugs" posted below. I thought I would do pictorial instruction for you. This is an easy way to add paper lace to ovals and circles. I do clip any stray corners that may show (see last picture). The last picture shows where I joined the two strips of lace. As you can see it is not really noticeable when you are done. I hope this helps each of you and that you will have fun playing with this technique! There are many ways you can play with this. For instance try adding a colored mat and then lace. The Lifestyle dies have 13 dies in the set and have a smaller graduation in size than Nestablities. But, any die cut will work! I would love to hear how you like this. Hugs and blessings!

Sometimes, I can be so stupid! I never would have thought to do this! You have truly inspired me; thank you so much. I will definitely be doing some of this in the future. Nothing like using what you already have on hand. Today I feel like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz! We have tornado watches for our area. The sky is black and the wind is howling! You might want to look outside in a couple of hours, I might just come blowing through!

Your first tutorial! Makes a girl proud! You did a great job explaining this and the pictures are very easy to understand. And your end pieces matched up so well, I had to stick a flower over mine!

Hi Patty, Sorry it took me sooooooo long to give you a visit. I haven't had much free time this week. Wow this is a great technique and I just love the card you made with it. Your coloring is fabulous. Can't wait to see more.
