"A Sweet Birthday Card!"

 

A close friend of mine wanted a 'sweet' birthday card for her grand-daughter who was turning "20"! This is what I came up with. The lovely digi stamp is from "Connie Fong"! I love her pretty images and always enjoy coloring them. I normally don't use orange as it is probably my least favorite color! but I am trying to make myself think outside the box! I die cut my stamp and sentiment on the front of the card and added some simple pearls and rhinestones for a bit of bling. A die cut and stamped sentiment finished off my card!

 Kitty Acrobatics

 

I love this fun stamp from The Paper Shelter! This stamp is called "Kitty Acrobatics" and you can find her here! I kept my card simple as I wanted the stamp to be the focal point. I didn't realize until my card was all put together that I grabbed the wrong die cut and used one with snowflakes! We do have kids in our community that wear shorts in the winter so maybe that was what I was thinking or it was a senior moment. Now to get to the point we have a new challenge at The Paper Shelter. This is an easy one it is "Happy Birthday"! Everyone needs birthday cards in your stash so join the fun! I am looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

Working 9 to 5

I have been babysitting my youngest grandson while my DIL works. She was talking to me the other day about how hard it is to get things done at home, work, get three boys to sports, and make time for herself. LOL! It brought back those busy days I had working and raising a family. So I made this card to encourage her. So, for all mom's out there who are struggling to keep up with everything, enjoy this time it will pass far too quickly and you will soon realize that trying to be perfect is not necessary but enjoying the time with your family is!
