A closer look at the image.
A closer look at my die cut flower!
Today caught up with me and I was ill prepared or this post. For those who visited me earlier I apologize. I was practicing my flicking (hair coloring) on this darling image from THE PAPER SHELTER. She is called Keeper o My Enchanted Forrest. She is such a fun color and the teens at church have loved the cards I made with her. I also used some new die cuts I have from Poppy Stamps and Memory Box. I thought they gave my card a forest effect. A few rhinestones added a bit more sparkle. I have yet to stamp the inside as I will wait and see what I want to use this card for.
I am entering this card at the following challenges:
My Song: (From The Hunger Games)
Black clouds are behind me
I now can see a hill
Often I wonder why I try
Hoping for an end
Sorrow weighs my shoulders down
And trouble haunts my mind
But I know the the present will not last
And tomorrow will be kinder

I'm going to take lessons from this card on how to color a face. This card is great, and this image is going to be sitting next to me as I try to color my faces so they have a nose and the coloring is more like this one. :) Hugs, Gail
