I have neglected my Magnolia stamps lately. Actually, it has been hard since Christmas to find time to craft. Life has a way of getting in the way of my time to relax and play. So, I was thrilled to have
Magnolia-licious
as our lovely sponsor for this challenge! At
ABC Challenge we are starting at the first of the alphabet! Our letter is "A" and the challenge is
"A is for Animals". I have a sweet little girl at church that this card will go to. She loves horses and is taking riding lessons now and she loves it. I know she will like this card also! Again, the pictures are not great. It is dark, cold and gloomy in Idaho and I can't seem to get a decent picture! I am ready for a bit of sunshine to brighten the days.
I hope you will bring some sunshine to someone today with a card and one that will work in our challenge!
Our second sponsor is
Marianne Design and I used one of their lovely dies to frame my image! Please check out these dies as they are lovely and you will enjoy how they cut so smooth and clean!
I had just enough of this SU ribbon to tie a small double bow on my card. Some 'horsey' embellishments added to my card. I will pick a sentiment at a later date. I hope you enjoy this card and will join in the fun at ABC Challenge!
I am entering this card at the following challenges:
My Song: Don't Fence Me In (Andrews Sisters and Bing Crosby)
Oh, give me land, lots of land under starry skies above
Don't fence me in
Let me ride through the wide open country that I love
Don't fence me in
Let me be by myself in the evenin' breeze
And listen to the murmur of the cottonwood trees
Send me off forever but I ask you please
Don't fence me in
Just turn me loose, let me straddle my old saddle
Underneath the western skies
On my cayuse, let me wander over yonder
Till I see the mountains rise
I want to ride to the ridge where the West commences
And gaze at the moon till I lose my senses
And I can't look at hobbles and I can't stand fences
Don't fence me in
Oh, give me land, lots of land under starry skies
Don't fence me in
Let me ride through the wide country that I love
Don't fence me in
